How is FAB Dock different to boat lift dry docks?

Revolutionary quality & craftsmanship
Revolutionary quality & craftsmanship

Constructed using only the very finest materials and components  available worldwide and constructed by a highly skilled team with over 100 years of combined experience. Every minute detail has been analysed and tested to guarantee the longevity and performance of your FAB Dock.

Cost effective

Your FAB Dock can pay for itself in as little as 3 or 4 years through maintenance cost savings, including no requirement for antifouling, and fuel savings by keeping your hull clean.

Easy berthing

Berthing your boat will never be easier. Simply use your FAB Dock as a bumper to guide you in. Being an inflatable product, this will almost eliminate the risk of scratching or damaging your boat.

Environmentally friendly

A FAB Dock is made from 100% recyclable materials and keeps your vessel clean and dry. This eliminates the need to apply toxic, poisonous antifoul and bottom paints to the hull of our boats and killing our precious marine environment.

Greater safety

Having your boat sitting at water level, as it was designed, in a FAB Dock provides a much more stable and controlled environment. Not only does it reduce the risk of damage during the docking process but also during storms, cyclones or hurricanes. The difference between having your boat at water level or six feet up in the air should something go wrong with your dry docking system is obvious.

Boat Structure

Boats are designed so that the water takes the weight of the boat evenly spread over every inch of the hull. That is how it works when your boat is sitting clean and dry inside a FAB Dock. This is not the case if your boat is perched on a couple of runners or brackets which can create pressure points and deformation.

Aesthetics

A boat sitting in the water is a thing of beauty. A boat sitting six feet out of the water on some contraption, blocking your view, is not such a nice thing to look at.

Australian Made & Owned

FAB Dock is proudly Australian made and owned, meaning you can trust in the quality, craftsmanship and customer service that comes with every system we build.

12 Volt System

FAB Dock is the only world wide, patented, 12 volt dry docking system available. This means that it is not only much safer than traditional 120/240 volt shore based systems but your FAB Dock can be run entirely from a solar panel. It really does tick all the boxes. This also means that a FAB Dock can be used on swing, buoy or pole moorings.

Our guarantee

We stand behind our FAB Dock and its ability to withstand the harshest of conditions of living in a saltwater environment. We are proud to offer every FAB Dock owner a 3-year warranty on the material and workmanship, with 12-months warranty on electrical componentry.

Like anything in life, the more you take care of your marine equipment, the longer it will last. It is for this reason that we recommend all FAB Dock owners look after their product with the inclusion of an annual FAB Dock service. This hassle-free, optional service is conducted by one of our trained and professional FAB Dock technicians within your region. This service is an optional add-on that helps owners to ensure they are maximising the lifespan of their FAB Dock product.

Our dry docking range is available in a variety of sizes for vessels between 16ft and 100ft. We also have custom options for larger vessels, multi-hulls and shaft and pod drives.
